Fort Smith Fall Clean-Up Days Offer Free Shredding & E-Waste Recycling

ort Smith residents are invited to take part in the city’s annual Fall Clean-Up Days on Saturday, October 18 and Saturday, October 25 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

 

This event provides residents an opportunity to dispose of unwanted items safely and responsibly — and this year includes two special services at no cost.

 

To participate, please note this event is for residents only, and you’ll need to bring either a driver’s license or recent utility bill as proof of residency.

🚫 Trailers and commercial vehicles will not be allowed.

 

🗑️ Free Services This Year

• Saturday, October 18 – Ward 4 Site, 8800 S. Dallas St.
  ➜ JEI Shredding will be on-site to securely dispose of sensitive documents — perfect for clearing out those old files safely.

• Saturday, October 25 – Sebastian County Solid Waste District E-Waste Drop-Off
  ➜ Bring your unwanted electronics for safe and eco-friendly recycling.

 

And if you’re holding onto bulky items before then, don’t forget about the Dial-A-Truck service — you can request pickup of up to five items at no extra charge.
