Engraved paver donations now open to fund a lasting tribute through the Fort Smith Firefighters Foundation. |
In a heartfelt effort to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, the Fort Smith Fire Department (FSFD) has launched a fundraising campaign to build a Fallen Firefighter Memorial.
The structure will feature a life-size bronze statue at its center and a striking layout of engraved pavers in the shape of a Maltese cross — a time-honored symbol of the fire service.
How the Fundraiser Works
Purpose & Vision
This memorial is envisioned as a place of reflection and remembrance — a tangible tribute where family, friends, and the wider fire service community can gather to honor fallen firefighters.
The use of a Maltese cross framework underscores the bravery and sacrifice inherent in the fire service tradition.
How You Can Support
Together, this project ensures that the names and stories of Fort Smith’s fallen firefighters will stand in stone — forever remembered. |
