River Valley Workforce Development Summit Set for October 10

On Friday, October 10, 2025, community leaders, educators, and employers will gather for the first-ever River Valley Workforce Development Summit — a regional collaboration designed to strengthen local talent and build a skilled workforce for the years ahead.

 

Hosted at Sallisaw Middle School, the summit will feature:

✔️ Expert speakers sharing real-world insights on workforce trends and training
✔️ Networking opportunities connecting business, education, and community leaders
✔️ Action-focused discussions on how to prepare the next generation for success

 

And for those looking to grow their careers — the event includes a Career Fair from Noon to 4 PM, where job seekers can meet employers, explore opportunities, and take their next step toward a new future.
