Fort Smith Fall Festival:

The festival runs all day, but many events are scheduled at specific times. The following is a general timeline of key activities and demonstrations.

 

• 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Festival Hours.

 

• 10:00 AM: Belle Starr Trial Reenactment at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

• 11:00 AM: School of the Soldier (Musket Drill for kids) at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

• 11:30 AM: Civil War Artillery Demonstration at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

• 12:00 PM: "Running at the Heads" Cavalry Demonstration at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

• 1:00 PM: You Be The Judge! Kid's Court at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

• 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: "History Alive!" re-enactors at the Fort Smith Museum of History.

• 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Belle and Sam Starr Trial Reenactment at the Fort Smith Museum of History.

• 2:00 PM: The Rifles of Fort Smith: Historic Weapons Demonstrations at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

• 2:30 PM: Civil War Artillery Demonstration at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

• 3:00 PM: "Running at the Heads" Cavalry Demonstration at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

• 3:30 PM: Final Civil War Artillery Demonstration at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

 

All-Day Activities (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM):

• Free Trolley rides.

• Food trucks and vendors.

• Kids Zone at Pendergraft Park.

• Laundress, fur trapper, and deputy marshal encampments at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.
