Local businesses and property owners can apply for up to $7,500 in matching funds for storefront improvements and downtown enhancements. |
Small updates can make a big difference downtown — and Main Street Fort Smith is helping business owners make them happen.
The organization has opened its Fall 2025 Mini-Grant Program, offering $1,500 to $7,500 in matching funds for projects that improve the look, accessibility, and experience of downtown spaces.
Eligible upgrades include signage, exterior lighting, awnings, façade restoration, landscaping, and other visual improvements that keep Garrison Avenue and nearby streets vibrant and inviting.
Applicants must be located within the designated Main Street district and be willing to match the grant amount. Awards will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a final deadline of Friday, November 14.
Main Street Fort Smith says the goal is to support “visible, meaningful changes that make downtown more walkable, beautiful, and open for business.”
Interested property or business owners can download applications and full guidelines from the Main Street Fort Smith website or contact the office directly for details.
